The official Twitter account of the office of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh was hacked on Friday night, a senior officer said. He said hackers sent 400 to 500 tweets from the account.
“The account was hacked for about 29 minutes overnight. The hackers posted about 400-500 tweets and the account has been suspended for unnatural activity. Efforts are underway to restore it,” it said on Saturday. the manager at PTI.

He added that the Twitter handle will soon be restored.
