“The training taught me how to have a good work ethic. Admittedly, it was a little tricky towards the end when I had to gather evidence for my graduation project by collecting evidence for my portfolio, but overall I felt very supported.

“Digital skills are really important in any job, because the whole world is digital now, because most people have to use computers.

Words of Advice

‘What I would say to any school leaver considering a digital apprenticeship is to first think about what you want to do at a grassroots level – for example – do you want to be creative – or is it more IT itself that appeals? Be open to what is. I now do both full time – repairing computers and marketing.

Also think about the skills you need – how to properly use Word, Excel, PowerPoint or even social media – it really takes you one step further if you already have that knowledge.

‘I am very happy with what I do and enjoy working with great people. They shaped me into the person I am today, which is great.’
