North Carolina man found in GA, returns to Randolph County Jail





Randolph County sheriff’s deputies booked a North Carolina man after authorities said he had removed his Electronic House Arrest monitoring device two months earlier and ran away.Leaders with the sheriff’s office said 30-year-old Rafael Rabadan was placed on Electronic House Arrest but removed his monitoring device on March 5. Authorities said they drove to his residence and found the device in a wooded area across from his residence, and they did not see Rabadan.Rabadan was placed on EHA by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office on March 26, 2020, for multiple charges including Trafficking of Illegal Substances, they said.On Thursday, a bondsman found Rabadan in Georgia and took him back to North Carolina where he is currently being held at the Randolph County Jail. Rabadan has a $155,000 secured bond, in addition to EHA.
