Moto G82 spotted on multiple certification websites; CPU and Connectivity Specifications

Motorola is reportedly working on a new smartphone that may launch as part of the company’s Moto G-series lineup. The handset, believed to be the Moto G82, has been spotted on certification websites in various countries, including the Wi-Fi Alliance, EEC, BIS and TDRA websites, suggesting the upcoming launch of the smartphone. The rumored Moto G82 processor has also been reported after being spotted on a benchmarking website. Motorola has yet to officially reveal details of the unannounced handset.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, a new Moto G-series smartphone has been spotted on the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website with the model number XT2225-1 and the name Moto G82. The smartphone was also spotted in a listing on the CEE certification website, which shows the smartphone listed with model number XT2225-1 and XT2231-3. Gadgets 360 was able to confirm the registration of the smartphone on the certification websites.

Meanwhile, the handset believed to be the Moto G82 has also been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website with the model number XT 2225-1, revealing that the phone will support dual-band Wi-Fi and work on Android 12 on the box. The smartphone was also spotted on the BIS website, with the model number XT2225-1, suggesting that the handset will also debut in India according to the report.

The rumored Moto G82 smartphone was also spotted in a Geekbench listing for a smartphone with the model number XT2225-2 with a single-core score of 651 and a multi-core score of 1850. The handset is listed to sport an octa-core processor which could be the Snapdragon 695 based on its specs, according to the report. The listing also shows that the smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM. As mentioned earlier, the company has yet to officially announce any details regarding the Moto G82 smartphone.
