UPDATE (8:20 PM) – All three tracks are available again.
LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) — Many residents of Longview and Kilgore have been without internet since Thursday night and the crew is still trying to restore them.
Fortunately, the crews have made progress and have already restored internet to some of the residents in the area.
According to Longview and Kilgore Cable TV, internet has been restored for those using AT&T, one of the three major providers in the area affected by the outage. They said in a Facebook post that AT&T has completed their repairs and most modems appear to be back online.
The company recommends that if your internet still doesn’t work, you can turn the modem off and on again by unplugging it to reset it. If the internet still won’t boot, email email@example.com and a tech will be sent.
They added that credits to accounts are not required to be requested due to the extended outage, although an announcement about the credits will be made Monday.
Other carriers are still working on repairs, but Level 3 is expected to be available again soon.
This is an ongoing story. Come back for more updates.
