Internet drags boyfriend who asked girlfriend to change in another room so he could sleep

A woman asked friends on Reddit’s “AmItheA**hole” forum if her live-in boyfriend is wrong by asking her to change clothes while he sleeps.

In the post, the woman explained that her boyfriend is “complaining that” [I] Make too much noise in the morning when they’re getting ready.’ She said their bathroom is connected to the bedroom with “an extra ugly little room” that she compared to a “girl’s room.” got dressed every morning but she hesitated saying she was “uncomfortable with that room’s bathroom” because it is “very small and ugly”.

The Redditor — who carries the username u/SatisfactionRare7422 — added that her boyfriend also doesn’t want her to use the master bathroom to shower in the morning. She repeated that she doesn’t want to move her things to the other room but feels confused.

“He says he needs to sleep as much as possible to do his job well and that his work should be our priority because he provides the most money,” she wrote. “I think this is too much, but maybe he’s right. We argued about this.”

So she turned to the internet for her collective opinion.

He’s self-centered, self-indulgent, entitled, demanding and thinks it’s appropriate to leverage his income as leverage in their relationship. OP, this one man is just a ‘boyfriend of your 20’. They are a stopover whose sole purpose is to teach you what not to put up with.”

Many others echoed the sentiment with u/nuttyNougatty, adding, “Not the maid, not the cook and NOT THE ALARM. What would he do if you weren’t there????”

Recent research by YouGov Omnibus shows that four in ten people claim that they do not wake up well rested and rested. Still, commentators focused on the unequal division of responsibilities when a partner earns more money.

When her preparation wakes him up, he’s outright lied about alarms that don’t work for him. Liars don’t deserve someone to make them breakfast.’
