If you’ve created a post but want to publish it later, you can schedule your post using Facebook’s scheduling options. Here’s how to do it on your desktop and mobile phone.

Can you schedule a Facebook post?
On Facebook, you can only schedule posts for your groups and pages. You cannot yet schedule posts in your personal account.
On your Facebook page, administrators and moderators can schedule and edit scheduled posts. In groups, again, admins and moderators can manage future posts.
Later, if you realize you need to edit or delete your scheduled post, you can do that too.
Schedule a post on a Facebook page
To post to your Page in the future, use the Facebook website on your computer or the Meta Business Suite app on your mobile. We will explain how to use these methods below.
Post messages in the future to the desktop
To perform the process on your desktop, first launch your favorite web browser and open Facebook. In the left sidebar of the site, select “Pages”then choose your page.
On your page screen, in the left sidebar, click “Publishing tools”.
Click on “Create a post” to compose the publication that you will schedule on your page.
In the window “Create a post” that opens, write the content of your message. Then click on “Share now” and choose “Plan”.
In the window “Schedule the post”, choose a date and time when you want your post to go live. Then save your changes by clicking “Plan” downstairs.
Back on the window “Create a post”click on “Schedule the post”.
And that’s all. Facebook will now automatically publish your post to your Page at the specified date and time. No interaction will be required from you.
If you wish to edit or delete your scheduled messages, you can do so by clicking on “Scheduled posts” on the page “Publishing tools”.

Post messages in the future on mobile
To schedule a post from your iPhone, iPad or Android phone, first download the free Meta Business Suite app to your phone. Then launch the app and log into your Facebook account.
In the bottom bar of the Meta Business Suite app, tap “+” (more), then choose “Publish”.
On the page “New post”, at the top, select the page you want to schedule your post on. Then write your message as you normally would.
When you’re done writing the message, in the top-right corner, tap “following”.
On the page “Revision”choose the option “Plan for later”.
In the “Schedule post” prompt, select a date and time when your post is scheduled to go live. Then press “Plan”.
Back to the page “Revision”in the upper right corner, tap “Plan”.
Your post has been successfully scheduled and will go live on the specified date and time. You are ready.
If you want to view your scheduled posts, in the Meta Business Suite app, tap Posts > Posted > Scheduled.
Schedule a post in a Facebook group
To post to your Facebook Groups later, you can use the Facebook website on desktop or the Facebook app on mobile. Here’s how.
Publish a post later to desktop
On your desktop, launch a web browser and open Facebook. In the left sidebar, choose “Groups”then select your group.
On the group page, click “write something” to compose a new message.
In the window “Create a post”, enter the content of your message. Then, in the lower right corner of the window, click “Schedule Post” (a calendar icon).
You will see a window “Schedule Post”. Here, select the date and time your post will go live. Then click on “Plan”.
Your Facebook group post is now successfully scheduled.
To view your scheduled posts, select “Scheduled Posts” from the left sidebar of your group page.
Publish a post later on mobile
To schedule group posts from your mobile phone, first launch the Facebook app on your phone.
In Facebook, tap the three horizontal lines. On an iPhone and iPad, you’ll see these lines in the lower right corner. On Android, these lines are in the upper right corner.
Press on “Groups” and select the group you want to schedule a post to.
On the group page, tap “write something” to compose a new message. Then, on the page that follows, write your message as you normally would.
Once you’ve written your message, under your name at the top, tap “Plan”.
You will see a menu “Schedule Post” appear at the bottom of your phone screen. In this menu, enable the toggle “Publish your message at a future date and time”. Then indicate the date and time of posting of your message.
Back on the post page, finish scheduling posts by tapping on the option “Plan”.
And that’s all.
To review all your group’s scheduled posts, then on the group page, tap the shield icon followed by “Scheduled posts”.
