YouTube playlists are not meant to be kept indefinitely. If you’re done watching all the content in a playlist, you can delete the playlist so your list isn’t cluttered. Here’s how to do just that on YouTube from your desktop or mobile phone.
Keep in mind that YouTube doesn’t let you delete certain playlists, like Watch Later. However, you can erase all content from this playlist if you wish.

Delete YouTube Playlist from Desktop
To get rid of a playlist from your Windows, Mac, Linux or Chromebook computer, use the official YouTube website.
Start by launching your favorite web browser on your computer and navigating to YouTube. On the site, log in to your account if you haven’t already.
Once logged in, in the YouTube sidebar on the left, select “Library”.
Scroll down the “Library” page to the “Playlists” section. Find the playlist you want to delete, then under that playlist, click “Show full playlist”.
When the Reading List page opens, on the left sidebar, click on the three dots.
From the three-dot menu, select “Delete Playlist”.
At the “Delete Playlist” prompt, choose “Delete”.
Warning: You can’t restore your deleted playlists, so make sure you really want to delete them.
And you are done. Your selected playlist has now been deleted from your YouTube account.

Delete YouTube Playlist from Mobile
On your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone, use the YouTube app to delete your playlists.
Start by launching the YouTube app on your phone. In the bottom bar of the app, tap “Library” to view your playlists.
On the “Library” page, scroll down to “Playlists” and tap the playlist you want to delete.
In the top right corner of the Reading List page, select the three dots and choose “Delete Reading List”.
Press “Delete” in the prompt.
And YouTube will remove the selected playlist from your account. You have finished.
In the future, you can always create a new YouTube playlist to collect your favorite videos.
