GTT Unveils New Internet and Voice Packages to Boost Businesses

GTT Business Solutions says it wants to boost businesses by offering packages of internet and voice solutions with its new conneX plans.

Unveiled over the weekend by Chief Operations Officer (COO) for GTT Business Solutions, Orson Ferguson, a release from the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GTT) said the new conneX 75, conneX 150 and conneX 600 plans new and existing businesses. will see receiving high-speed Internet service with free voice solutions of 3500, 4000 and 6000 free minutes for local on-net calls and calls to the US and Canada.

“Today we have … officials responsible for working with small businesses in specific geographic areas to help them make informed technology decisions. These officials have been working with businesses since July and have been responsible for providing solutions to hundreds of small businesses across Guyana. We have Guyana’s number one non-cash payment solution, mmg, in our small business solution stack too. With mmg+, small businesses can make and receive payments anywhere in Guyana,” said Ferguson.

Senior Manager SMB, Technical and Cloud Delivery at GTT Business Solutions, Tanya Wilcott, said in the release that landline customers can keep their current number when upgrading to the new conneX plans.

“These solutions are made just for you, giving you the extra pair of hands and the extra day you need to move your business forward with ease. These new plans offer the added benefits of more speed to keep you connected with your stakeholders, more minutes to keep you connected to your [international] partners and more value to ensure you take advantage of the opportunities the new economy presents,” she stated.

She also announced that there will be one bill for both fixed and internet services.

After the launch of conneX, GTT and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) hosted a Business Expo where more than 40 small and medium-sized companies took advantage of the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

The expo was a free opportunity for companies to raise awareness and meet the public and members of the private sector. These companies, the release said, will also get three free months of conneX to start their enhanced connectivity.
