Fayetteville felon wanted for removing electronic tracking device; previously charged with 7 crimes

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WNCN) – Fayetteville police are looking for a man after removing his electronic monitoring device on Friday.

Savion Amajescott Mclaurin, 21, was released from prison on bail on seven counts in a previous incident, but is now charged with interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

Mclaurin was placed under electronic surveillance after being charged with four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of stolen property and conspiracy, according to an official press release.
