Data breach complaint against customer service company consolidated

A duo of proposed data breach class actions against a customer service technology company are being consolidated because they raise common legal and factual questions, a federal judge in Colorado ruled.

In the lawsuits against it in Englewood, Colo. established TTEC Services Corp. involve both individuals whose personal information has been compromised in a data breach, so consolidation here is appropriate, Jury chairman Philip A. Brimmer wrote in a warrant filed April 8 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Lawyers representing TTEC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
