How to get it: Order an AT&T Fiber subscription online. Order gigabit service to get the HBO Max offer.
AT&T is known for giving away gift cards frequently, and this March is no exception. All AT&T Fiber plans — that’s AT&T Fiber 300, 500, and 1000, along with the new multi-gig plans available in select areas — come with a $150 gift card and an additional $100 gift card, just to to register online. The gift card offer is not available with AT&T Internet (a DSL-based service) or AT&T Fixed Wireless Internet.

How to get it: Apply Online for FiberOptic Gig Service or Fiber 2 Gig
Frontier’s promotional offers vary by subscription. To get the top prize — a free Amazon Fire TV 43-inch 4K UHD Smart TV 7 and a Logitech webcam — you’ll need to sign up for Frontier’s new multigig subscription, Fiber 2 Gig. At $150 per month, the 2Gbps service is priced a little higher than others, but perhaps the 4K TV will add value to the plan. Frontier’s Fiber 2 Gig also comes with Wi-Fi 6 equipment at no extra cost, as does the provider’s One Gig subscription, which also comes with a $200 gift card, but no free TV. If you don’t need gigabit speed, Frontier FiberOptic 500/500 comes with a $100 gift card, but no other benefits.
One caveat to Frontier’s specials: they have a one-year contract requirement, so you can’t sign up for Fiber 2 Gig, get your free TV, and then cancel the service without penalty. Even if you accept the $100 gift card, it comes with a one-year service agreement. Canceling before your contract expires can incur an early termination fee that exceeds the value of gift cards or even a TV, so make sure you’re ready before accepting any special offers. You can opt out of the special offers when you sign up for Frontier Internet online.

How to get it: Be a new or returning customer who has not had Kinetic service in the last 30 days and maintain the service for at least six months.
In select areas, Kinetic by Windstream offers free service to new or returning customers for three months. Other locations may only be eligible for one month, while others may still not qualify for free service, but all new Kinetic customers can get $100 instant credit when they sign up.
If you can get a free month of service (or three), don’t expect your bill to be zero. Taxes and fees, including the monthly equipment cost of approximately $10, still apply. In addition, if you decide to cancel the service before the six-month mark, Kinetic can refund that credit.

The gift card is the same for all subscriptions, but the HBO Max offer varies per subscription. Optimum 300 comes with HBO Max for three months, while Optimum 500 comes with six months of streaming service and Optimum Gig for a full year. Optimum 100, a low-cost plan available in select locations, does not come with a gift card or HBO Max offer.

Internet Promotion FAQ
Is the promo offer worth signing up for a new internet service?
Promotional offers are all well and good, but they shouldn’t be the only consideration when choosing an internet service or plan. The best bang for your buck often lies in the plan that delivers the speed you need at the lowest price. Anything on top of that, like gift cards or free streaming services, is welcome, but if it tempts you to pay a premium for more speed than you need, the sign-up bonus may not be worth it.
For example, let’s say you are looking for Frontier FiberOptic Internet and are interested in the 500 Mbps plan, which comes with a $100 gift card. Then you see the gig plan, which is $20 more per month, but comes with a $200 gift card. So after five months, the extra $100 you got with the gig service will run out and you’ll have to pay $20 more per month for a plan with more speed than you need. In short, always try to use the best plan for your needs, not necessarily the one with the highest immediate satisfaction.
What other internet offers are there?
Other than the promos mentioned above, there isn’t much to write home about. Sure, some providers have lower introductory prices or offers for free install, but that’s now so common with ISPs that they can hardly be considered “promos”.
That’s not to say that other special offers aren’t available, they’re just not as widely advertised or may not be available to all retail customers. When signing up for a new Internet service, ask the Internet service provider what other special offer they can offer you.
Can existing internet customers get offers?
Internet promotions are often reserved for new customers or returning customers who have been gone for more than a year. That’s not to say a lower price or a deal on upgrading to a faster speed isn’t available. Try calling your current ISP and ask what they can do to keep your business. It may not get you anything, but it is could be get a lower rate, free equipment, or anything else not advertised online. Hey, you never know, it never hurts to ask.
