Apple Watch Series 7 has officially arrived and both sizes are slightly larger with cases measuring 1mm larger than Series 6. There is also no hidden diagnostic port on the latest wearable devices. Now we have a preview of Apple’s new diagnostic docking station for the 7 series.
Spotted by MacMagazine (via Google Translate), the images of the Apple Watch Series 7 diagnostic station appeared in compliance documents filed by Apple with the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency, Anatel.
The new Apple Watch docking station used internally by Apple operates at 60.5 GHz and is labeled with model A2687. With the Apple Watch Series 7 not having a physical port / connection, the docking station is used for Apple Watch development and possibly for service in Apple Stores.
The docking station is in two parts, the base includes the magnetic charger for the watch and also has a USB-C port, while the top part contains the watch case and seems to work wirelessly.
